Anirban Roy is a very talented young flute player who gained popularity by playing flute in India's one of famous talent reality show 'Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan'. He is selected as a top 10 contestant. Anirban Roy is one of the most admired child flutist artist from India who gathered popularity at a very young age of 11.

Anirban Roy was born on 11 January 2011 and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is now 12 years old as in 2023. Anirban Roy was born into a family environ of music in the eastern side of India. He belongs to middle class family as well as believes in Hinduism Family. He started learning the flute at the age of 4 from his father, Lokenath Roy. Anirban has been recognized as a prodigy by his peers and has performed at various events. He is a student of class II in Don Bosco School, Kolkata.

 

Anirban Roy won the hearts of all 3 judges, 'Karan Johar', 'Parineeti Chopra' and 'Mithun Chakraborty' for his first performance in Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan. After Performing his first playing flute performance Karan asks him to play his one of a favourite Song 'Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin' Song. And Mithun Chakraborty takes permission from Anirban to call him Ustad Anirban.​

Anirban has performed at Vasantotsav 2018, an annual music festival organized by Suresh Wadkar’s Ajivasan Music and Dance Academy. He has also performed with Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, an Indian classical musician and composer.
